PBH Cultural Competence Reception

On January 27, 2006, PBH held a Cultural Competence Reception to officially release the PBH Cultural Competence Plan 2006. The reception was held at PBH Training Facility in Concord, NC. Guests were greeted by culturally diverse food, displays, and music. Speakers included Dan Coughlin, CEO/Area Director; Pam Shipman, Deputy Area Director; Stephan Tomlinson, Director of Community Relations; Revella Nesbit, Community Relations Manager and Cultural Competence Coordinator; Beverly Morrow, member of Consumer Family Advisory Committee (CFAC) and William Peoples, Vice- President Rowan County NAACP. This reception honored the completion of our Cultural Competence Plan and the beginning of the implementation phase.
